Moving the Work Forward!

I will keep Grandpa in my prayers! Isn't this gospel amazing at this time of our lives especially? Joseph Smith gave a talk once about death and how it was NOT a sad thing because we'll see them again. It is sad in a sense that it's a separation but we WILL see them again. I love our Fathers plan for us.
So Swaziland was moved out of our mission to go to the Mozambique mission :( We are all sad, but oh well.
Also, we had time to visit with some Jehovah’s Witnesses. It was amazing! We just respected each other and taught each other. The Spirit was there and we were all edified in a sense that the spirit could teach. NOT US!   Simple answers followed by your testimony are the start of powerful conversations.
So our Mission President came to interview us. Remember I had said we had been trying to contact the King? Well, we'd been working pretty hard and then at stake conference in Bloemfontein (South Africa, yes I got McDonald's, yay) my companion spoke with a man and we got his information and set an appointment for him to come talk with our President, us, and mission mom. It was cool talking with these great people and planning how we would move the work forward in Lesotho by contacting the King himself. We took a picture of the moment to be recorded.
I love you all! Have a nice week and keep on keeping on! hahaha Love you all!
Love,
Elder Petrie

Cino de Mayo in Lesotho...NOT!

Sooo...in answer to your question, yes, we do have a sink. The only problem is the power goes out sometimes. It's actually a nice place though.
Elder Allen and I will be parting probably next week for transfers and it will be pretty dang sad. Eish. I'm going to miss that guy a lot! I will look forward to seeing him on mission and at home though that's still a long ways away..
This week we have been working pretty hard but with little results. However, one meme came to church when she had a swollen foot and walked the whole way! That was a miracle. I really look up to some of these people! Another cool thing that happened was a woman was pushing a wheel barrow and we got out and helped her and later were able to teach her a lesson that was SUPER nice! I think the Lord is just waiting to see how we do with the little chances we have so that He can allow the work to pick up when we endure it, cause right now it's SLOW! haha We are still trying hard though! When I see others that aren't doing something, now I try to look immediately inward and say...am I doing this? (Except for on the road; I just drive like everyone else to survive). haha The driving is flippin crazy!
Well, I'll talk to you on Saturday to set the time and try this calling stuff out. Love you all and have a nice week :) Sala Hantle!!! :)
Love,
Elder Petrie
